Ms. Alicia is an ECE educator in Capitol Hill at Dora Moore ECE-8th in Denver Public Schools. She uses a handful of puppets that come to the classroom from “Shelf School” to ensure each child is seen, heard, loved, and supported every day.

Alicia longs to share her passion for puppet magic with other educators and teach them how to use puppets to spread joy and love in the classroom - and in everyday life.

Masters in Puppetry

In the Master's in Puppetry: No String Attached course, passionate performer, puppeteer, and Early Childhood Educator Alicia Roo Parker shares with her fellow educators how puppetry can bring joy and connection to the classroom.

During the course, participants will experience the magic of puppetry with child-like awe and wonder. Then, they will have the opportunity to create a puppet character they can use to engage the young learners in their classrooms.

"If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet - how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of."
